Transfers: To and from the airport to your hotel are included on the tour dates. Airport transfers can be arranged for a cost when you purchase extra nights before or after the vacation.
Insurance: Medical insurance is mandatory. Cancellation and trip interruption insurance is optional. Premiums depend on your age, the length of time away and the cost of your tour and insurance will be discussed and quoted at the time of booking.

October 14 - Lima - Allpa Hotel & Suites - 2 nights
Welcome to Lima, the capital of Peru which lies on the country’s arid Pacific coast. Though its colonial center is preserved, it’s a bustling metropolis and one of South America’s largest cities. From exploring historical landmarks to digging into signature cultural dishes, Lima packs a ton of diversity.
Arrive late this evening and transfer to your hotel.
October 15 - Lima - Allpa Hotel & Suites - Breakfast and Dinner

Following orientation, discover Lima’s fascinating history during a colonial tour through the historic city center, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Admire the artwork at San Francisco Monastery and enter the catacombs. View the elegant Cathedral and Government Palace at Plaza de Armas. Explore Lima’s modern Side with a visit to the fashionable suburbs of Barranco and Miraflores for insight into the daily life of the Limenos.

October 16 - Amazon - Tambopata Research Center - 3 night - Breakfast and Dinner
Our journey into the Amazon starts with a flight to Puerto Maldonado.
After arrival, travel by motorized canoe to our cozy lodge, located near the Tambopata National Reserve in the Amazon rainforest. As you journey along the verdant banks of the Tambopata River, take in the sights of local bird species. Once at the lodge, enjoy an evening walk with a naturalist guide before dinner, where you’ll have the chance to spot some of the rainforest’s nocturnal inhabitants.
October 17 - Amazon - Tambopata Research Center - Breakfast, Lunch and DInner
Spend the day discovering the vibrant ecosystems of the rainforest with our lodge’s naturalist guides. Look out for toucans, howler monkeys, and sloths in the treetops, and kayak through oxbow lakes for a chance to see river otters, turtles, and possibly even anacondas. After dinner, enjoy a motorized canoe river tour to spot caimans, the smaller relatives of alligators, often lurking near the muddy banks.
October 18 - Amazon - Tambopata Research Center - Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Join us for a captivating morning guided tour excursion! on many clear mornings throughout the year, witness the breathtaking sight of dozens of large macaws and hundreds of parrots gathering along the expansive riverbank in a vibrant and lively display that has even captured the attention of National Geographic.
The rest of your day is yours to explore as you desire. Take this opportunity to immerse yourself in the incredible biodiversity of the Amazon rainforest. You might choose to embark on a guided hike through the lush jungle, where you can discover unique flora and fauna, or participate in a canoe trip along the tranquil rivers, keeping an eye out for wildlife along the banks. Alternatively, you could simply relax and soak in the serene surroundings of the research center, enjoying the sounds of the rainforest.
October 19 - Sacred Valley - Hotel Augusto Urubamba - 2 night - Breakfast and Dinner

After breakfast, we begin our journey back to Puerto Maldonado. We’ll travel back to the Tambopata River Port before continuing to the airport.
Fly to Cuzco, in the heart of Inca civilization. Our first stop is the village of Chincheros, located to the northwest of Cusco. This charming village, once a significant Inca center, is renowned for its traditional Andean weaving techniques still practiced by its inhabitants. Dressed in traditional attire, the people of Chincheros gather in the Main Square to sell their local handicrafts to visitors - a vibrant and captivating sight. Afterward, you’ll have the rest of the day to explore at your leisure.
October 20 - Sacred Valley - Hotel Augusto Urubamba - Breakfast and Lunch

Enjoy a full day exploring the Sacred Valley. Our first stop is Pisac to test our bartering skills, interact with the local craftsmen and purchase hand-made souvenirs. A visit to the Pisac archaeological site to explore the extensive ruins including the iconic Intihuatana.
Next, we visit Ollantaytambo. The quaint village is the best surviving example of Inca city planning, with narrow cobblestone streets that have been continuously inhabited since the 13th century.
In the afternoon, we’ll catch a train for a scenic 2-hour journey to Aguas Calientes (Hot Springs Town), where we will spend the night.
October 21 - Aguas Calientes - Hatun Inti Boutique - 1 night - Breakfast

To fully enjoy Machu Picchu, it’s an early morning start. After breakfast, a short zigzag ascent by bus to the citadel.
Upon arrival, a knowledgeable guide leads us on a two-hour tour of Machu Picchu, showcasing highlights such as the House of the Guardian, Intihuatana, the Temple of the Sun, and the Sacred Plaza, depending on the circuit set by the Ministry of Culture. Enjoy stunning views of the site’s agricultural terraces and surrounding mountains during the tour.
After exploring Machu Picchu, we’ll take the bus back to Aguas Calientes, where you can relax and have lunch before boarding the train to Cusco
October 22 - Cusco - Casa Andina Standard Cusco Plaza - 3 nights - Breakfast

After breakfast, enjoy a free day to explore Cusco at your ease. The capital city of the Inca Empire is now the undisputed archaeological capital of the Americas, as well as the continent’s oldest continuously inhabited city.

We will pick you up from your hotel around 05h30 - 06h00. We’ll head to the community of CUSIPATA, we’ll get there in about 2 hours. Then we continue for some 30 minutes more, to the Town of CHILLIHUANIL, where we will pass through picturesque places like TINTINKO and RIO TIGRE and the Mountain of Surina in LLACTO, where you will also enjoy the flora and fauna in its natural habitat. (Llamas, Alpacas, Vicunas, etc.). 20 minutes later we will reach the starting point of our walk to the Rainbow Mountain. This walk will last about an hour and a half. We’ll enjoy panoramic views such as the Red Valley and Nevado Ausangate and small lagoons just before arriving at the spot where we can watch the whole colourful mountain. Our guide will explain the science behind the colours and we’ll have some hot tea and something to eat. Then we will begin to descend to our starting point. Our vehicle will be waiting for us there to return to your hotel in Cusco, arriving around 18h00.
October 23 - Cusco - Casa Andina Standard Cusco Plaza - Breakfast

A full Cusco city tour is on the agenda for today. We start in the city centre viewing the Incan foundation; the famous Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption of the Virgin and the Temple of the Sun. Enjoy a visit to the market of San Pedro before exploring the Inca ruins in the hills surrounding Cusco.
Classic Cooking Class - Cost per person $133 CAD
With an approximate duration of 3 hours, this service starts at 11 am, picking up the user from their hotel on the way to the house of the chosen cook. Once in the place, the tourists receive a brief explanation of the activities they will carry out, and they will receive the appropriate clothing for the class. What we will do next is practical cooking classes where tourists learn the preparation of traditional plates of the city, presented by experienced chefs, who teach various conventional recipes. In this service, all the ingredients are already at home. Lunch/Dinner at the cook’s house: We want all the tourists to feel immersed in the local culture, for this, each chef has prepared various stories and experiences that are transmitted at the table and surrounded by local people (the cook and his family) while tasting the food made in the cooking class.
Folklore Show and Dinner - Cost per person $40 CAD
Head to the Tunupa restaurant, located in the central Plaza de Armas of Cusco (a 3-minute walk from the hotel), and get ready for a fabulous buffet dinner. There is a large selection of typical dishes, meat, fish, vegetables, and desserts; they are amazing and delicious dishes. The night is more enjoyable when the
traditional dance show begins, and you can get involved with folk, traditional, and classical music, and sweeten your ears with the Andean instruments: quena, charango, flute, zampoa. If you wish, you can also share the dance floor with the dancers and have a great experience.
Following dinner visit the Cusco Planetarium, surrounded by the natural beauty of the Llaullipata Ecological Reserve. Use telescopes to gaze up at the sky and see thousands of stars. Spot the constellations of the southern hemisphere, and learn about the ancient Incas’ relationship with the cosmos.
October 24 - Puno - Hotel Royal Inn Puno - 2 nights - Breakfast and Dinne
Today we have a full-day journey to Puno on the shores of Lake Titicaca.
October 25 - Puno - Hotel Royal Inn Puno - Breakfast and Local Living Lunch

After breakfast, we travel to the port of Puno to board the motor boat that will take us to the floating Uros Islands. More than 65 small floating islands exist today and we will visit two of them to learn about the history and lifestyle of the Uros people. Explore a bit further afield on the Lake, reaching Taquile Island. The island is a traditional Quechua-speaking community, full of ancient agricultural terraces and some ruins dating back to the pre-Inca times. The Taquile population was relatively isolated from the mainland until the 1950s, and the notion of the community and family is still very strong among them. The weaving tradition of this Island goes back to early civilizations, thus keeping elements from pre-Inca Andean cultures alive in the present. Once we reach the island there is a traditional lunch awaiting our arrival. We will then have free time to explore the island before returning to Puno.
October 26 - Lima - Allpa Hotel & Suites - 1 nigh - Breakfast and Dinner
After breakfast, we'll transfer to the airport for our flight to Lima. On arrival at Lima Airport, a transfer will be arranged to the hotel where the rest of the evening is at leisure before our farewell dinner.
